FREE waste disposal, recycling & cleanup services
There are numerous free and legal waste disposal options available in Whyalla, making it easy to dispose of unwanted items responsibly without resorting to illegal dumping.
Illegal dumping places a significant burden on the community, creating environmental harm, safety risks and unnecessary clean-up costs that are ultimately borne by ratepayers and consume council resources that could be spent more productively on services and improvements for the community.
You can also help improve the look of our streets by reporting abandoned trolleys, which will then be picked up and returned to the supermarket - you'll find links for these services below.
Find out about the various other ways we can all improve the look of our city and ensure we can ENJOY WHYALLA here.
If there is an additional service that could be added please contact Council on 8640 3444
