Christmas on the Avenue
OneSteel Christmas Pageant 2026
Whyalla’s much-loved Christmas on the Avenue is back with the event set to take place on Saturday, 21 November.
Festivities will begin with the OneSteel Christmas Pageant along Nicolson Avenue, before the celebrations continue into Civic Park with the After Pageant Market event, coordinated by the Whyalla Show Society. An event for all with local makers and creatives along with food and beverage vendors.
This years Carols event, also coordinated by the Whyalla Show Society will take place on Saturday 12 December at Civic Park.
This year’s Christmas on the Avenue is being delivered by a collaborative working group made up of local organisations and there’s still room for more.

Applications are now open for the 2026 Christmas Pageant Float Incentive Program, giving Whyalla groups a helping hand to get their festive creations rolling.
Local businesses, schools, sporting clubs and community groups can now apply for financial support or supplies to help build and decorate a float for the 2026 Whyalla Christmas Pageant.
