Upcoming electrical works - koala crossing upgrade

The Whyalla City Council would like to advise you that construction works will be undertaken at the Koala crossing located on Nicolson Avenue outside of Nicolson Avenue Primary School, commencing the week of 7th - 11th July. Works has been scheduled over the school holiday break to reduce impacts on students and the school and are schedule to be completed before school returns.
These essential works form part of our commitment to improving road safety in our community. Please be advised there will be traffic impacts throughout the week. The impacts involve partial road closures that will be in place during the works, with traffic management and signage on site to assist and advise motorists. Some delays may be expected, however the road will continue to be available for general usage.
We understand that construction activities may cause some inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Every effort will be made to complete the works efficiently and with minimal disturbance to residents.
