The playground will be temporarily closed to install the poles for shade sails between Monday 20 October and Wednesday 22 October

The new play equipment has been fully installed with only the shade sails left to go in next week. (picture above)

Installation work is now underway and is expected to be completed sometime in the week of 29 September. We'll provide another update next week regarding when the playground will be available to the public.
Update: 30.07.25
From Thursday, 31 July, the existing playground will be removed in preparation for the upgrade. As part of the preparation works, an audit of the surrounding shade trees will be conducted, with any necessary trimming or removal carried out to accommodate the new play equipment and shade structure.
The installation of the new playground elements is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
