The former Civic Building is now free from scaffolding.
The Forsyth Street footpath near Whyalla City Council’s former Civic Building will finally be free of scaffolding this week!
Please be aware of changed conditions during this time.

Whyalla City Council is currently installing containment flashings on its former Civic Building to secure unstable sections and prevent the potential for falling debris. This will allow for the removal of the current scaffold to prevent ongoing street-level disruption, all while maintaining community safety.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of September.
