Ada Ryan Gardens - Pine Tree Removal

Whyalla City Council wishes to advise the community that four Pine trees within Ada Ryan Gardens are scheduled for removal between Sunday 16 February and Friday 21 February.
Site Safety and Access
Access to the work zone will be via the Watson Terrace fence, as close as possible to the trees being removed to minimise impact on the wider park. A temporary internal fence will be installed to prevent public access while works are underway.
Council contractors will take measures to protect surrounding paths, irrigation systems and lawn areas throughout the project.
Reuse of Materials
Council is pleased to advise that all mulch generated from the tree removals will be returned to Ada Ryan Gardens, where it will be stored for future spreading within the park.
Additionally, larger logs will be held in storage and future use as natural playground elements. This ensures the materials continue to benefit the community.
