Whyalla’s Garage Sale Trail is already taking shape

The first few Whyalla sales have been registered for this year’s Garage Sale Trail, giving bargain hunters a chance to start planning their route ahead of the November event.

Garage Sale Trail will run across 7–8 and 14–15 November 2026. Shoppers can search the online map now, save sales they want to visit and check back as more local listings are added. getinvolved.garagesaletrail.com.au

Whyalla City Council Waste Officer Charuka Sanduni said there was still plenty of time for residents to join in.

“Some Whyalla sellers have already put their sales on the map, so you can start planning your trail route,” Ms Sanduni said.

“And if you’ve been meaning to clear out a cupboard or sort through the shed, this is a good reason to get started. Register your sale now, then use the next few weeks to decide what you’d like to pass on.”

Households, schools, community groups and neighbours can host a sale on one day or more across the two weekends. Registration is free and includes an online listing, sale tips and promotional materials. garagesaletrail.com.au

Garage Sale Trail gives unwanted items a chance to find a new home while helping sellers make some extra cash and shoppers pick up a bargain.
