Whyalla community shows support for Clean Up Australia Day
Community groups and organisations across Whyalla have shown their support for Clean Up Australia Day, the month-long initiative has already seen a number of local efforts helping to tidy areas around the city and care for the environment.
Whyalla City Council staff participated in a clean-up activity on Sunday, while Triple Y, the Whyalla Show Society and community members, including David and Tim, also took part in their own efforts throughout the month to help remove litter and keep public spaces looking their best.
These efforts help ensure residents and visitors can continue to Enjoy Whyalla, with clean shared spaces for everyone to appreciate.
Council thanks everyone who contributed their time and effort, demonstrating how small actions can make a meaningful difference for the city and its environment.
