Attendees can look forward to event entertainment, market stalls, and food and beverage vendors, offering plenty of fun, shopping, delicious treats, and something for everyone to enjoy. The event forms part of the broader Cuttlefest program, which showcases Whyalla’s unique marine environment through a range of experiences, activities and community events.
Whyalla City Council Events Coordinator Ryan Sutherland said Salty ‘Sea’esta was an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy one of the key events on the Cuttlefest calendar.
“Salty ‘Sea’esta is all about good food, good entertainment and giving people a reason to head down to the foreshore and enjoy themselves,” Ms Sutherland said.
“We’ve got a great mix of things planned, and whether you stay for an hour or settle in for the afternoon, there’ll be plenty to see, do and eat.
“Cuttlefest is a great time of year for Whyalla, so it’s nice to have an event where locals and visitors can come together, have some fun and make the most of it.”
There will also be a FREE community bus to help get you there, see timetable below.
