Last chance to have your say on the proposed Dry Zone
This is the final chance to provide feedback on the city’s proposed Dry Zone – with the community survey closing in just 1 week!
Whyalla City Council is calling on as many people as possible to take part, with the short survey taking less than two minutes to complete. It’s just four clicks – and could help shape a significant decision for our community.
Mayor Phill Stone encouraged everyone to take a moment to get involved. “We haven’t made a decision yet – and that’s why your input matters. This is your opportunity to influence the future of the Dry Zone in Whyalla. Whether you support it, oppose it, or have suggestions – we want to hear from you,” Mayor Stone said.
If you’re unsure about any of the details, or have questions or concerns, please refer to the original media release, which includes background information and frequently asked questions.
Prefer a face-to-face chat? There’s one final chance to speak with a councillor in person – tomorrow, Thursday, 17 April at Westland Shopping Centre, in front of Coles, between 2pm and 6pm. Councillors will be available to answer your questions.

The survey is available HERE. Don’t miss out – have your say by Wednesday, 23 April.
