West Whyalla Football Club joins this year's Garage Sale Trail
Each year, over 3 million pre-loved items are freed from cupboards, sheds, and garages across Australia as part of the Garage Sale Trail—and it’s back this November! Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to find some bargains on the 9-10 & 16-17 November.
The Westlands Whyalla Football Club (WWFC) will be hosting a group sale on Sunday, 17 November, from 9 am to 2 pm. Community members are invited to book a table, gather their unused items, and take part, contact them on 8645 9909 or whyalladragons@bigpond.com
For those who can’t make it in person, WWFC is gladly accepting approved donations. Bubbles and Froth will be onsite serving fresh coffee, so you can sip while you shop!
For a successful garage sale day, here are some top tips:
1. Plan Your Route – If you’re heading out on the Garage Sale Trail, map out your must-visit sales for the day to make the most of it.
2. Make a List – Avoid impulse buys by shopping with a list of the items you need.
3. Bring Cash – Though many sales may offer cashless payment options, some are cash-only, so having cash on hand is a smart move.
4. Dress Comfortably – Be garage-sale ready with sensible shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
5. Pack Essentials – Reusable shopping bags, snacks, and drinks will keep you fuelled as you hunt for the best deals.
