Launch of Council's Digital Annual Report

Whyalla City Council has launched its first Digital Annual Report, redefining the traditional reporting experience and aiming to make it accessible to a broader audience.

In an era where digital communication is vital, Council is committed to providing the local community with a more user-friendly, interactive experience, allowing residents to understand Council’s performance more easily in the 2022/2023 financial year.

Mayor Phill Stone encouraged the community to check out the new-look report to get a snapshot of Council’s priorities and achievements.

‘’We understand that not everyone wants to read through the hundreds of pages you’ll find in a traditional annual report, so our digital version represents a more modern, condensed approach in how we communicate our annual achievements with our community,” Mayor Stone said.

” The interactive features of the report provide a far more user-friendly experience, allowing for more engagement and understanding of Council’s performance and direction, as well as having a lot less to read! Our traditional annual report has also been produced and is still available for those seeking a more detailed overview of the financial year.’’

Key features of the Digital Annual Report include:

-  - Video content from Mayor Phill Stone, creating a personal and informative touch

-  - Clickable links, providing more in-depth information for residents seeking a deeper understanding of the content

-- - Condensed information, enabling users to access information quickly and easily. The full, traditional version of the annual report is also accessible through the digital report
