Calling all photographers: Submissions open for Cuttlefest photography exhibition
Join us in showcasing the extraordinary underwater and marine photography of Whyalla during Cuttlefest 2024!
The Cuttlefest Underwater and Marine Photography Exhibition is now seeking submissions from local photographers for its upcoming showcase. Photographers are invited to submit framed and ready-to-hang underwater and marine photographs capturing the stunning beauty of Whyalla's marine environment.
Whyalla City Council has reached out to the Whyalla Photography Group to participate in this event, now it’s your turn to get involved! Submissions are open until May 24, 2024, and we encourage both emerging and experienced local photographers to share their breathtaking images.
Council's Community Activation Arts and Cultural Facilitator Teresa Coles is encouraging all photographers to submit their work.
‘’This is a great opportunity to showcase our local talent and incredible marine life, so I encourage all photographers to submit their work and be part of Cuttlefest 2024,’’ Ms Coles said.
The exhibition will be on display throughout June and July at the Whyalla Public Library, Middleback Arts Centre, and Whyalla Art Gallery, depending on the number of submissions received. This showcase aims to highlight the amazing underwater world in and around Whyalla as part of Cuttlefest 2024.
Please note that this is not a competition, but an opportunity for photographers to display their work (artists may choose to offer their artworks for sale).
Photographers interested in participating can find the full terms and conditions and submission form here.
