Whyalla City Council is calling on the community to take caution when travelling along Nicolson Avenue, with traffic management in place to allow contractors to work safely in the area.
This week, Oz Irrigation are installing irrigation in the median strip in front of the Whyalla Secondary College, before moving along Nicolson Avenue to install irrigation between Bradford Street and Rudall Avenue.
This project is part of Council’s greening Whyalla project.
To ensure the safety of contractors, traffic will be reduced to one lane and speed restrictions will be in place for the duration of the works.
Please drive to the conditions or consider taking an alternative route.
