Open Spaces Crew Kept Busy
With the large volume of rain recently falling the opens spaces crew have been kept incredibly busy.
Our gardens, lawns and ovals are looking nice and lush, but with this comes the growth of our weeds. The open spaces team are working hard to get around and tending to the weeds. Please be patient as they get to work.

Thanks to the hard work of our oval crew, Gordan and Damien, and the lovely rainfall Whyalla has experienced recently Memorial, and Bennett Oval are looking fantastic!
Whyalla had a visit from South Australia Cricket Association officials who commended the outdoor crew on how great the ovals are looking.
Their hard work is a testament to the fact that cricket has not had to be postponed over the wet periods, with the drainage system standing up strong.
John O’Halloran, president of Whyalla Cricket Association said “Gordon and Damien do a fantastic job. They are always helpful and prepared to work with us they're a real credit to the council”
