Calling all Businesses
The lead Contractor, Aurecon, redeveloping the nearby Australian Defence Force Cultana Training Range, is keen to learn what the capacity and capability is of local businesses to undertake specified works required to redevelop and upgrade one of Australia’s largest defence training ranges.
Aurecon have requested local businesses submit a capacity and capability statement direct to the Project Team, no later than 31 May 2022.
City of Whyalla Mayor Clare McLaughlin said Council has been liaising with the Australian Defence Force Procurement and Defence SA for some time, advocating for local businesses to be given every opportunity to pitch for the Cultana work.
“This is a Project of national significance and though there are no guarantees, the variety of opportunity is extraordinary. If you have the capability and capacity, you have a real chance of picking up some serious work” Mayor McLaughlin said.
