Come down to the Whyalla Visitor Information Centre these School Holidays where we have a heap of fun activities planned for you!
Pirate Treasure Hunt
The ’Pirate Treasure Hunt’ is running 10am – 4pm every day of the school holidays, including weekends, with FREE entry for children in family groups.
You will need to follow the treasure map to find all the clues the pirate has hidden in the gardens and Maritime Museum and then use the pirate code to unravel the answer to your quest.
Every child will come away with their own certificate and an activity pack to take home. Pick up your information sheet and decoding key from the friendly staff at the Visitor Centre and let the adventure begin.
Dressing up is encouraged! Arrrrrrrr me hearties!

Entry to the Maritime Museum: Adults $15, Concession $12 per person, KIDS FREE in family groups. Museum is open 10-4pm everyday Tours of the HMAS Whyalla every day at 11.30am & 1.30pm. (Bookings are essential for ship tours)

Jazz on the Lawn
Come down to the Whyalla Maritime Museum Gardens and enjoy a great afternoon of free entertainment under the tree tops on Sunday 10th October from 12noon until 3pm.
'Jazz on the Lawn' features original Adelaide Jazz Musicians '5 Sided Cube', for a fun afternoon of contemporary jazz, hip hop, rock, funk and jazz fusion.
Sit back, Jazz out and relax with your BYO Picnic nibbles & drinks, picnic rug or chair.
There will be a free bus pick up 11am and return 3:15pm from the Westland Shopping Centre (Kmart side) to the Maritime Museum & return.
