It’s nearly school holiday time and the Maritime Museum has some fun activities and a challenge ahead for you.
‘Cuttlefish Capers’ is running from 10am – 4pm every day of the school holidays, including weekends, with FREE entry for children in family groups
Cuttlefish Capers is a fun fact-finding and decoding mission – should you choose to accept.
Every child will come away with their own certificate and an activity pack so they can make their own under-the-sea diorama at home.
Pick up your information sheet and decoding key from the friendly staff at the Visitor Centre and let the adventure begin!
Find as many cuttlefish as you can and learn about the unique and amazing Giant Australian Cuttlefish - Whyalla is the only place in the world they are known to breed in these numbers.
Cuttlefest 2021 is providing other great activities and inspiring even more around the city throughout the school holidays.
Why not take the plunge and go snorkelling to see these wonderful creatures in their underwater playground in the waters off Stony Point – for the full Cuttlefest program and to find out more go to our website www.whyalla.com.
Entry to the Maritime Museum:
