As a part of Council's general maintenance plan, the dog park requires occasional weeding which means that it will have to close for short duration.
From 7am on Tuesday August 3rd to 1pm on Wednesday August 4th the dog park will remain closed while a general broadleaf herbicide is applied.
Council will be exceeding the recommended time to reopen after applying the herbicide just to be extra careful for when the public and their dogs return to the park on Friday afternoon.
