Christmas Events Overview
Numerous community groups are working tirelessly to ensure Whyalla residents have several events to enjoy in the lead-up to this year’s Christmas.
Although some events are unable to occur due to SA Health restrictions related to mass gatherings – including the traditional pageant, which did not receive SA Health approval – dedicated volunteers are pulling out all the stops to find ways for others to still go ahead throughout November and December.
These events, which are proudly supported by Whyalla City Council, include:
Whyalla Christmas Carols (community groups coming together to organise a modified event subject to SA Health approval – announcement coming soon from the organisers!)
- Organisers will make an announcement regarding this event soon

So although we can’t enjoy some of the traditional festivities, let’s celebrate those activities that we can and make the most of the Christmas spirit this festive season!
