Join the Aussie Animal Adventure at the Whyalla Maritime Museum ... it's on every day during the summer school holidays.
Are you ready for an Animal Safari? Can you spot a kookaburra hidden in the trees or and echidna in the scrub? We need you to help us find eight different Aussie animals that have taken up residence in our Maritime Museum gardens.
Each animal holds a secret letter, unjumble the letters to reveal the hidden words, and take home your very own prize pack and certificate.
Don’t forget, FREE ENTRY for children in family groups. Take advantage of our timeless Maritime Museum, a guided tour on board the HMAS Whyalla (the first ship ever built in Whyalla) and the stunning botanic gardens (with BBQ/picnic facilities & newly established Bush Theatre)!
We also have Steelworks tours running during the holidays on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings (exc. Public Holidays), which can be followed by the Museum & guided Ship Tour. Why not make a day of it?
The team at the Whyalla Visitor Centre & Maritime Museum look forward to seeing you and the family this summer holidays! Contact us on 8645 7900
