MFS Crews regularly use city locations and assets like the HMAS Whyalla for training purposes.
Visitor Operations Coordinator Teresa Coles said the Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is always happy to take part in these activities
"We have always been happy to recieve emergency services crews such as the MFS and SES to practice their skills in such a unique structure in the ship"
"It always a nice thought to know that if there was an emergency that local crews are well prepared and practiced for a rescue out here at the VIC, which is why we have always been happy to assist in these sorts of training exercises"
