The Whyalla Public Library is going to POP! ... with school holiday activities starting next week.

You’ll need to your ear out for the “pop” as the library puts on a stack of holiday pop-up activities for kids of all ages to enjoy.

There’s no programming, no need to book, they won’t cost anything … you just need to follow the Council’s Facebook Page for updates or download the My Local Service app for a heads-up message that will pop-up on your phone.

It’s a bit wacky but we’ve got so much happening we can’t put a time and a day to them all!

We’ll give you a day or two’s notice to get pack the kids in the car, jump on your bikes, get on the bus or just walk on down to the library for some pop-up fun and activities.

Even better, you could drop into the library on Ekblom Street any time and ask the staff what’s about to pop-up next!

Here’s some of the stuff that is going to pop up at the library for kids to do this school holidays from  Monday, September 30 to Friday, October 4 and Monday, October 7 to Friday, October 11.

Check out these activities ready to pop:

Sand art sessions

Board game sessions

Musical instrument sessions

Kite day

Lux slime fun

Rainbow fish

Some will be in the morning, some will be in the afternoon.

Go to the Council Facebook page or download the My Local Services app https://www.lga.sa.gov.au/mylocalservices so we can send you a message direct about the next pop-up school holiday activity at the your public library on Ekblom Street.

You can also stay in touch by calling the library on 8645 7891 any day of the week.
