Cleanaway has informed Council that it had only two trucks collecting waste today and, although the drivers gave it their best effort, there was still about 100 bins unemptied today.
According to Cleanaway, the company contracted by Council to collect kerbside rubbish, it will collect the missed bins first thing tomorrow (Wednesday, December 11) and hopefully should have all three trucks back running tomorrow also.
To make further enquiries about your bins ring the Kerbside Enquiry Line: 1300 559 206.
