All hands on deck!

The Whyalla Visitor and Information Centre (VIC) and Maritime Museum has some rascally parrots hiding throughout the museum gardens and needs your help finding them.

So avast ye me hearties! Get your boots on, be a Jolly Roger and scuttle on down for the VIC's October School Holiday adventure starting next week and on every day of the holidays (including weekends).

Come down and find the noisy ‘pirates' parrots’ hiding throughout the gardens. They each have a flag which will help you to unravel a code to find the answer you need to win a loot bag.

The HMAS Whyalla will even be open for you to experience even more seafaring adventures every day of the school holidays at 11.30am and 1.30pm.  The Maritime Museum is open every day from 10am – 4pm.

Bring the family down and make a day of it. Enjoy the facilities available with entry and even have a barbecue in the picnic garden.

All children in family groups are FREE during school holidays.

The VIC, the Maritime Museum and the HMAS Whyalla are on Lincoln Highway. Call on the Whyalla Visitor Centre on 8645 7900 for more details.
