Christmas is not far away and that means the Lions GFG Alliance Carols In The Park is also just around the corner.
The annual event will be held this year on Sunday December 15 in Whyalla’s Civic Park.
The free family night is staged by the Whyalla and Mount Laura Lions Clubs and Stormfront Productions with support from the City of Whyalla and a long list of sponsors.
Stageshow Coordinator Alison Hams said the event was the largest free concert event in Regional South Australia and was proud to provide the people of Whyalla a chance to "Celebrate Christmas as a community".
“There will be music, food stalls, free balloons and face painting for the kids” Alison said.
“And if boys and girls have been good this year, there may even be a visit from Father Christmas himself.”
Added to another great line-up, the Carols Community Choir will again feature - and anyone is welcome to join in and have the best seat in the house.
Those interested in joining the choir can go to http://www.whyallacarols.com/Carols%20Community%20Choir%202019.pdf for more information.
