The City of Whyalla is establishing a plan to confirm its support of, and engagement in, arts and culture and needs you to provide input for this plan.

Council Arts and Culture Facilitator Deb Hughes said formulating the Arts and Cultural Strategic Plan involved many questions.

* What is important in our community?

* What is a genuine expression of who we are?

* How do we like to express ourselves?

* What pieces of the puzzle are missing?

* And what do we do really well?

* What needs a push?

* Who is missing out?

"We have so many questions and we hope that you have many answers," Deb said

"We are starting this process with some targeted public consultation.

“We know many people are already interested in the arts and culture space and so we’d really like to hear what you think.

"We will be staging a number of opportunities over the week starting Monday November 18th with a meeting with the Music Association at its regular 7pm Monday meet ups.”

Mondays session hosted by Whyalla Music Association Inc is in the Playford Apartments (old Whyalla Hotel) ground floor Function Room. Enter via the Darling Terrace main Entrance. Register your interest here: https://www.facebook.com/events/704838956669594
