The organising crew from the 2018 Whyalla uneARTh Festival will be at Westland Shopping Centre broadcasting live with Magic105.9

The uneARTh Festival crew will be broadcasting live on Thursday this week with Magic105.9 at the Westland Shopping Centre.

The 2018 Whyalla uneARTh Festival organising crew will be down at the shopping centre from 10am to 1pm on Thursday, March 15 with Magic105.9 announcer Rory Hession (pictured).

18unearthFrom the middle of the shopping centre, they’ll playing some tunes, interviewing people about the 2018 Whyalla uneARTh Festival and handing out programs for the award-winning event which happens on March 30-31 at the Ada Ryan Gardens.

The kids can also get an entry for the ARTie colour-in competition. We want people to colour in the uneARTh mascot to win cinema passes and have their entry posted on the wall at the Middleback Arts Centre.

We’ve got a feeling ARTie will be there too.

“Now that the 2018 Whyalla uneARTh Festival program is out, things are really starting to get exciting,’’ Council events and tourism officer and festival organiser Rebecca Neilson said.

“Everyone is really pumped about the line-up for this year’s event and here’s a chance for people to come down to Westland, get a program and get into the festival vibe.

“You might even get interviewed live on Magic109.5.”

Magic105.9 is one of three valued local media sponsors of the event. Along with Southern Cross TV and the Whyalla News, it is a unique sponsorship with all three local media outlets working together and proudly jumping on board for this year’s event.

Tune in to Magic105.9 to listen in.
