The Telecommunications Independent Review Committee will be in Whyalla today to conduct public consultation.
Whyalla residents are invited to attend a public consultation for the 2018 Regional Telecommunications Review. This is an independent review of telecommunications services in regional, rural and remote Australia that takes place every three years.
As part of the review, the Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committee will travel to many parts of regional and remote Australia throughout June and July, giving communities the opportunity to discuss their views and experiences with the Committee first hand.
The Whyalla review is being held between 10.30am and noon today (June 25) at the Mt Laura Homestead on Ekblom Street.
Anyone who wants to have their say on regional telecommunications services is encouraged to attend.
Regional communities and organisations will also have an opportunity to participate through the submission process. For more information and details on how to make a submission visit www.rtirc.gov.au
