Story time returns to the Whyalla Library

Parents of children aged two years to school age are invited to the Whyalla Public Library each Wednesday and Thursday during the school term for Story Time and Gigglepots.

The sessions are fun, educational and free and offer parents and young people an opportunity to mix and learn.

"These sessions are always fun and they teach babies and toddlers that reading is fun," said Whyalla Public Library's Children's Program Co-ordinator, Christine Barsby.

"It's an opportunity for parents to get out of the house and meet up with others who are in the same situation," she said.

"Reading can be a life-long pleasure, the earlier children are exposed to it, the better," said Ms Barsby.

The sessions run during the school terms on Wednesdays at 10.30am and Thursdays at 10.30am and 2pm.
