LOCAL MARKETS: Natural Candles by Kylie will be one of many market stalls at the After Pageant Fair.
It’s going to be a Mega Market Day on Sunday!
It was a bit sad when we had to postpone the GFG Alliance Whyalla Christmas Pageant and After Pageant Fair last month but the bonus is that we’ve picked up even more market stalls for the rescheduled fair (after the pageant) this Sunday.
The GFG Alliance Whyalla Christmas Pageant and After Pageant Fair had to be postponed due to persistent rain on November 24. It’s all been rescheduled to this Sunday (December 9) and most of the original market stall-holders for the fair can still attend while a few more are now available for Whyalla’s big day.
To make it a mega market day, the Tendarra Markets are also on Sunday from 10am until an early finish at 3pm while the George Avenue Markets are on from 7.30am to 11.30am allowing everyone to attend all three events.
We’ve got more than 30 market stalls for the After Pageant Fair which starts at 6pm in Ada Ryan Gardens after the pageant. There’ll also be free entertainment, activities and the big fireworks finale at 8.45pm.

PAGEANT AND AFTER PAGEANT FAIR PROGRAM - SUNDAY, DECEMBER 9
4pm: Pageant entries check in at corner of Wood Terrace and Forsyth Street
4.30pm: Toy Run starts at Whyalla Public Library.
5pm: Pageant progresses along route to Ada Ryan Gardens.
6pm: After Pageant Fair kicks off with Santa, entertainment, activities, stalls, food and refreshments.
8.45pm: Fireworks off the breakwater.
