CENTRE STAGE: The Carols Community Choir at last year's Carols in the Park.
If you love singing and love Christmas you simply can’t miss this amazing opportunity.
Lions GFG Alliance Carols in the Park is once again looking for singers for its Carols Community Choir (CCC). The community choir is a fantastic feature of the Carols on Sunday, December 16 in Civic Park.
Stageshow Coordinator Mark Tempany, from Stormfront Productions, said there was really only a couple of requirements to join the choir … a willingness to sing loud and proud, and to enjoy yourself!
“It doesn’t matter if you’re five or 75 - as long as you want to do your bit for our town spreading peace and goodwill that's all we need" Mark said.
“Donating a couple of hours of your time is easy - and we get the best seat in the house for this spectacular event!”
This year's "Carols In The Park" features a bumper Stageshow full of songs, special guests and dancers - and Santa himself has been invited to visit Civic Park to celebrate Christmas with Whyalla once again.
Applications for the CCC close on Friday, November 30 and can be made by filling out a simple form with a just a few requirements including attending a rehearsal.
