TRANSFORMING: The Liberty Primary Steel Transformation Project team (not all members present).

GFG Alliance has shared its Liberty Primary Steel Transformation project details with the City of Whyalla and the community.

GFG Alliance, the owner of the Whyalla Steelworks and associated mines, has produced a brochure and a video to help keep its employees and the community informed on the progress of the transformation project.

In its letter to Council, GFG said it had released this brochure and video to outline the key aspects of the project - what it has achieved so far and what lies ahead

Printed copies are being letterbox-dropped across the community, as well as being available on-site and in places such as the Council front counter in Civic Building on Darling Terrace and at the Whyalla Public Library.

Anyone who has not received a brochure in the mail or is unable to get to the council office or library, can request one by sending an email to transformingwhyalla@gfgalliance.com.

The brochure can be found also be found online at https://bit.ly/2N70XrS

More of these brochures will be released in the coming months as the project continues to progress.

Below is a video from Liberty Primary Steel Chief Operating Officer, Theuns Victor, and Liberty Primary Steel Transformation Project General Manager, Michiel Freislich, about the brochure and the progress on the Liberty Primary Steel Transformation Project.
