beachdayThe temperature is tipped to be a bit cooler than we’ve had to end the week but still be sun smart and the foreshore is the ideal place to be on a warm day with the nice sea breezes.

The activities on the day include:

Beach detectives and sand sculpture activities (suitable for four to thirteen year olds - open to all ages)

Outdoor, nature play and self-guided learning opportunities

Art zone - colour in pages and tracing stencils to create your own colourful marine poster

Talk with your friendly local Natural Resource Management Officers

Ask about the nearby Upper Spencer Gulf Marine Park

There will be plenty of water available with the water fountains on the foreshore while other drinks will be available for sale.

The day goes from 10am until 2pm and there will be a free sausage sizzle.

Come along and find out what makes our marine environment tick while having plenty of fun at the same time.
