The City of Whyalla will be installing new flag poles at its Civic Building offices on Darling Terrace.
Council will replace the existing flag poles that are worn, dated and no longer safe to use after wind and rain caused them to come loose from their mountings.
The new flag poles will be securely mounted and easier to use when raising and lowering flags for ceremonial, and other, purposes. Council presently flies Australian and Aboriginal flags.
