QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT: The Namaste dancers will be at the After Pageant Fair.
This year’s GFG Alliance After Pageant Fair is set to go off again with entertainment, activities and the fireworks finale.
The After Pageant Fair starts at 6pm in Ada Ryan Gardens when the pageant and its star attraction Santa arrives. The jolly red man will be there to entertain the children while there will be plenty more going on.
Entertainers Emily and Colby will be performing along with a D’Faces magician and the Namaste dancers. There will be bubble soccer, a jumping castle, face painting, food, refreshments and markets.
All of this will make for the perfect end to the pageant procession and a fun evening leading up to the fireworks that will go off from the end of the breakwater at about 8.45pm.
This year the pageant festivities also have an extra attraction with the City Plaza Traders also having after pageant street entertainment in Patterson St. Jodi & Craig will be singing everyones favourite songs from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
A stage show "Christmas Magic" featuturing the Amazing Mr Nelson the magician and his apprentice sourcerers and a collaborative performance with Y Dance Whyalla and D'Faces of youth dance team from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Free jumpy castles and face painting between 6pm and 8.30pm with everyone welcome to stroll the Plaza on their way to the Ada Ryan Gardens or after.
The Plaza Association is proud to be able to offer these extra activities and entertainment to the community to enhance the experience of this magical day.
There is still time for community groups, sporting clubs, families or anyone interested, to put in a float in the GFG Alliance Whyalla Christmas Pageant being organised by the Whyalla Apex Club and the City of Whyalla. Anyone wishing to have a stall at the After Pageant Fair can also still apply.
The pageant will be run from 5pm to 6pm with the floats, marching bands, clowns, elves and of course Santa himself.
