The weekend starts on Friday night and there's something for everyone in the region

Whyalla has got a jam-packed weekend of activities for October 20-22.

With the weather just about perfect, with predicted 20 and 21 degrees for Saturday and Sunday, there's no excuse to not get out and about and get into it.

The weekend kicks off with the first performance of the Whyalla Players' stage production Jungle Fever tonight (Friday, October 20). This hilarious adult production will have its first airing at The Left Hand Club and tickets are still available at the door but don't leave it too late with the show starting at 7pm.

prideTomorrow is the first event of Pride Week with Pride in the Park (right) at Civic Park. There is no entry fee to this community event that promised plenty of enertainment and activities for the family including bubble soccer, jumping castle and Come and Try circus equipment.

The enertainment continues on Saturday night with the Whyalla Brass Band 105th celebration concert at the Middleback Arts Centre.

For those looking for something a bit more noisy, there is the Race Your Mates/Burnouts at the Steel City Raceway.

On Sunday, it's a money saving day as kids get in for free at the Whyalla Maritime Museum.

Or you can go down to the foreshore and join in with the Whyalla Surf Life Saving Club's Come and Try Day this Sunday.

If anyone has a community event they'd like to promote, email rebecca.neilson@whyalla.sa.gov.au
