The City of Whyalla is a major supporter of our local sporting clubs and associations.
We understand the importantance of volunteers and how important it is for volunteers to have as much information and expertise to run clubs and run them properly.
To help out, council's STARCLUB Field Officer Alberto Salatino will be conducting two more training sessions in November. These sessions, to held at the council chambers, will be a valuable learning tool for those involved in sporting clubs or those looking to get involved.
Being a volunteer at a sporting club is a rewarding past time (especially when your team wins) and these sessions are a free kick for those vital people out there keeping our sporting clubs ticking over and providing facilities and organisation for everyone, juniors to seniors, to compete in their chosen sport.

This will be held at the Council Chambers between 6pm and 9pm.
