A free bus service will be offered over the Easter long weekend to assist members of the public in attending the city’s inaugural uneARTh Festival.

The bus service will be offered free of charge for all members of the public wishing to utilise the service, with six designated pick up and drop off points.

The service will run on Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15, with pick-ups starting from 11.30am and running until 11.05pm.

Residents wishing to use the service are asked to arrive at their designated bus stop a few minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Whyalla mayor Lyn Breuer said the council recognised the need for the service to ensure all members of the community were able to attend the exciting new event debuting over the Easter long weekend.

“We want to ensure every member of the community has the opportunity to experience the inaugural uneARTh Festival,” Ms Breuer said.

“We understand that some people don’t have access to a vehicle, and it can be quite difficult to traverse from one end of the city to the other when public transport services are not running on public holidays.”

“The council and organisers of the uneARTh Festival sincerely hope the community makes use of this service.”

uneARTh Festival will provide two jam-packed days of entertainment, with an exhilarating lineup of Adelaide Fringe acts on Friday, April 14 and an impressive array of local artists taking to the stage on Saturday, April 15.

The ever popular Rainbow Run will also be held on Saturday, April 15, kicking off at 4pm, before Adelaide band the Flaming Sambucas provide an explosive finale for the city’s first ever uneARTh Festival.

uneARTh Festival has been designed to offer something that will appeal to every member of the family.
