Did you miss this year’s Whyalla GFG Alliance Christmas Pageant and an appearance from Santa?
Well, no need to fret because the big jolly red man is going to make another appearance at a pageant in Whyalla. Even if you did miss last month’s pageant, why not come along to this one too?
The Centacare Catholic Country SA Christmas Pageant and Party in the Park happens tomorrow, Tuesday December 19 and promises plenty of family fun.
The pageant won’t be quite as big as the GFG Alliance pageant but it is going to have a good number of floats, elves, helpers and, of course, Santa in his sleigh. It starts at Head Street (across the road from the Centacare Head Street office) at 4pm and returns to McRitchie Reserve where the Party in the Park gets underway from 6-9pm.
At the free family event in the park there will be a sausage sizzle and drinks, jumping castle, face painting, badge making and many more activities with Santa in attendance. There’s also a free screening of the Muppet Christmas Carol Movie on a big outdoor screen.
The event is supported by the H.O.P.E Collective and is an alcohol and smoke-free event.
