Amusements to add exciting new element to Australia Day

In celebration of the summer season, CSA Amusements is heading to Whyalla to provide fun, food and festivities at the Whyalla Foreshore.

CSA Amusements will be set up at Whyalla Foreshore from Thursday, January 19 until Monday, January 30, operating between 5pm and 10pm every day, and will also be operating during the council’s Australia Day community celebration, adding an exciting new element to the twilight event.

Residents can head down to the foreshore and enjoy the many fun rides on offer, as well as grab a bite to eat from the exciting array of delicious carnival style food.

Whyalla mayor Lyn Breuer said CSA Amusements would provide a great addition to the Whyalla Foreshore throughout the summer period, while residents were enjoying their holidays and the warmer weather.

“Summer is the perfect time for residents to get out and enjoy the wonderful facilities at the Whyalla Foreshore, and with CSA Amusements setting up just before school goes back, there is no better time to make use of the foreshore,” Ms Breuer said.

“It is excellent that the amusement rides will also be available to the public on Australia Day, adding yet another exciting element to the community celebration.”

Residents are advised that music will be played throughout the duration of amusement operation, and may be heard from residential areas, however the council is working with the operators to reduce noise impact.

Any residents with concerns about the activity in the area are urged to contact Harley Smans of CSA Amusements on 0423 418 806.
