Chief Executive Officer's Review Panel
The Chief Executive Officer’s Review Panel was first established by way of Council resolution in November 2021 as a Section 41 committee.
The Panel is a requirement of the Executive Performance Management Framework adopted by Council in August 2021. Its purpose is to facilitate a fair and equitable Chief Executive Officer performance review process on a biannual basis as well as establishing key performance indicators. To assist in this process, the Panel is supported by an independent and suitably qualified external consultant as required by section 102A of the Local Government Act. The current appointed external consultant is Dr Felicity-ann Lewis, appointed by Council in August 2021 for a three-year period. Felicity is a former Mayor of Marion City Council, former President of the South Australian Local Government Association, and former President of the Australian Local Government Association. Felicity has a wealth of experience having worked within the local government sector for many years and has experience with the establishment of KPIs and review of CEO performance.
