Whyalla City Council runs a school program each year for year 7 and year 10 students. All vaccines are administrated by registered nurses. All immunisation encounters are uploaded to Medicare and a copy of student record is sent home with the student for parents to keep.

Vaccines offered:
For year 7, the following vaccines will be offered:
HPV (Gardisil) - 13 to 14 years – 1 dose program
dTpa (Boostrix or Adacel) - 13 to 14 years – 1 dose program
For year 10, the following vaccines will be offered:
Meningococcal B - 15 to 17 years – 2 dose program
Meningococcal ACWY - 15 to 17 years – 1 dose program
