Looking for events entertain the kids these School Holidays? The Whyalla City Council are offering a number of fun, educational options to amuse the kids these School Holidays.

School Holidays T1 Timetable V3

The Rail Trail Challenge and Ships tours are on EVERYDAY at the Whyalla Visitor Centre! Opening hours are 10am - 4pm and Ship tours are on at 10:30am, 11:30am and 1:30pm.

Week 1

Hungry Caterpillar - book reading

Head to the Whyalla Public Library to listen to the book reading of the Hungry Caterpillar, for ages 3-8 starting at 10am on Monday 15 April.

Board Game afternoon

Head to the Nest (pod next to library) to enjoy an afternoon of board games, for all ages from 1pm - 4pm on Monday 15 April.

Big Rock Road Show

Head to the Whyalla Public Library to see awesome rocks and minerals, learn how to identify different types and learn about our local geology for ages 5-14, starting at 11am - 1pm on Tuesday 16 April.

Crafternoon

Head to the Nest (pod next to library) to enjoy an afternoon of crafts, all craft activities supplied.  For all ages from 1pm - 4pm on Tuesday 16 April.

The Brainary Robotics

Head to the Whyalla Public Library to participate in the Brainary Robotics program, it encourages kids to create, collaborate and think critically through play-based learning. For ages 10-14 from 10am - 12pm on Thursday 18 April.

**This workshop counts towards your Children's University hours.**

Movie Night 

Bring a bean bag and watch Aladdin! From 4:30pm onwards, movie starting at 5pm, for all ages, at the Girl Guide Hall on the corner of Whitehead Street and Darling Terrace.
