Meeting Room Hire
Community spaces within the main library include study areas with tables and chairs, indoor and outdoor reading lounges, a magazine and newspaper reading area, young adult space and children's area for story time programs, and craft activities.
A beverage machine with coffee and hot chocolate ($2.50) and water cooler with filtered water (free) is available. Toilet facilities are accessible and include a baby changing table.
Our Vicki Ledo room is available for hire within the library as well as a Community Display area, which can be booked for exhibits or promotional activities.

Community Display areas
The Whyalla Public Library have community display boards, located just inside the library entrance, are available for community and service groups to promote their services or upcoming events. This area can be booked for up to 2 weeks (subject to availability) mobile display boards are also available.
If you would like to promote your event or group on a smaller scale we are more than happy to display a poster on our community notice board located next to the coffee machine.
