It’s that time of year again, with Whyalla City Council seeking your feedback on its performance and how it can improve to ensure it’s meeting the needs of the community.
This will be the fourth year that council has conducted the community survey, with the opportunity to compare its performance in the eyes of the community. This year’s survey will cover the same areas, helping demonstrate where council has improved or needs to focus more effort.
Key aspects being covered include the community’s:
- Pride in their city
- Use of local parks, gardens, public buildings and coastline
- Views on whether they would recommend Whyalla as a place to live or do business
- Satisfaction with the services delivered by council
Council is keen to hear from as many residents as possible to ensure the survey is truly reflective of the broader community’s views. There are several ways you can participate, including:
- Completing the online survey here
- Picking up a physical copy from council’s Civic Building, Whyalla Public Library, Visitor Information Centre or Whyalla Child Care Centre. Completed surveys can be returned to the same pickup locations
- Coming along to one of the community drop-in sessions (details to be confirmed)
- Contacting council direct on 8640 3444 or council@whyalla.sa.gov.au to request a copy
We also encourage you to share the survey with your friends / family / colleagues. We need you to help spread the word and get as many locals involved as possible!
The survey will be open for the next month, closing at 5pm on 2 September.
Council will provide an update on the feedback received and how this will be used to identify improvements throughout 2024 and beyond.
