Payment options and electronic notice delivery

There are a number of ways you can pay your Council rates:

Via Internet

Internet payment may be made through:

By Phone

Telephone payment may be made through Australia Post's  Billpay Service. Please ring 13 18 16. Follow the recorded directions, quoting Billpay code 2813 and the Reference Number shown next to the POSTbillpay symbol on your rates notice.

Bpay

Contact your participating financial institution to pay your account from your savings, cheque or credit card account. Quote Biller Code 36079 and the Reference Number as shown on the front of your rates notice.

By Mail

Make your cheques payable to: 'The Corporation of the City of Whyalla' and crossed Not Negotiable.

Mail payment with 'payment slip' to the Corporation of the City of Whyalla, PO Box 126, Whyalla SA 5600.

In Person

Present your rates notice at:

  • any Post Office with Billpay facilities;
  • Council Office, Darling Terrace, Whyalla - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Electronic Notice Delivery

Rate Notices can also be delivered straight to your inbox using ezybill. Please go to the Ezybill - rate notices via email webpage for more information and to register for this service. When receiving notices via email you can choose to make payment via your preferred payment method (as above) or for convenience click on the ‘Online Payments’ section of the notice to pay by Credit Card on the Council website.
