2018 uneARTh Festival

Stand proud Whyalla...our inaugural uneARTh Festival has beaten some of the biggest events in the state to win the People's Choice Award at the 2017 Arts South Australia Ruby Awards!

In 2018 we will see the festival happen in Whyalla once again! The committee has been working hard to get the very best performers to delight and push those creative boundaries we all love.

We are bringing a taste of the Adelaide Fringe to Whyalla!

In the coming weeks you will see this page full of stall-holder information, artist notifications and school & creative project incentives - so don't go far and put his page in your favourites!

Want to be a part of the uneARTh Festival?

We have two competitions for you to be a part of:

Colouring in competition

Young or old you colour our friendly balloon dog and make him your own, place him in places he would never go. Just make sure he gets to the Middleback Arts Centre so he can be displayed for everyone to see by no later than, Friday 23 March 2018 to then be transported to the Ada Ryan Gardens for the festival.

Banner competition

Create a colourful banner celebrating our unique city from RECYCLED materials, maximum size 2 metres tall by 1.25 meters wide (portrait orientation) somewhere in your image you must place a balloon and a dog. Please give some thought to how it will hang and that it will be displayed outside.
