


Whyalla City Council provides library services from two locations within the City. The Civic Library is situated in Patterson Street at the eastern end of Whyalla, and the Alex Ramsay Library is located in Ramsay Street, next to the One Stop Shopping Centre.
In addition to lending fiction and non-fiction books the library also lends paper backs, cassettes, CD's, magazines, videos, DVD's, CD -ROMs, hear a books and LOTE books.
A local history collection is located at Civic Library and photocopying is available at both branches
Free Internet Access is available at both libraries. One hour bookings or 15 minute sessions are available. Bookings are required. All terminals carry a full suite of word processing software and are print, disc and USB enabled.
