Infrastructure Control

The Infrastructure Services Department of Whyalla City Council provides a wide range of services to the community, such as, repairs to the road network, including pot-hole patching, sign repairs/replacement and linemarking, footpath maintenance and repair, patrol grading of all unsealed roads, maintenance of Whyalla's stormwater drainage systems, repairs and general maintenance to the marina at Whyalla and the ramp facilities at Point Lowly, Waste management responsibilities which include hard waste collection, general litter control, recycling, household rubbish collection, operation of the landfill site, street-sweeping and the coordination of Clean up Australia Day.
